My memoirs of my catering life begin at school where my first catering challenge of ordering the food for a week long (CCF) camp went wrong, through life and the trials and challenges it throws up, to being a successful hotel manager in the west country, which in itself presents different challenges! Throughout my career I have worked in over 30 establishments, be they hotels, restaurants, hospitals, nursing homes, ship catering with jobs in all departments from kitchens to housekeeping, reception to management. It is an exciting read and gives an insight into life in the hotel and hospitality industry!!
